Okay question for cooks or professional chefs?
my all time favorite comfort food is chicken pot pie, i love to smell the warm aroma of fresh herbs and tender chicken swimming in a creamy sauce all in cased in a flaky crust, i roast a whole chicken with er salt and pepper and i put chicken broth in the bottom of the pan to enrich en the broth from the chicken, i dice the meat and then i make a volute with the juice from the chicken heavy cream and salt and pepper then i add carrots peas and sauteed onions then the chicken and some fresh parsley then i bake it till the filling is bubbly and the crust is golden brown, my question is the filling is so creamy and chickeny if you will before i put it in the oven then when it comes out of the oven it toasts completely diff rent and it makes me mad and i either give it away or toss it in the garbage i want it to come out of the oven tasting like it does when i cook it in my pan please tell me the secret to a perfect delicious chicken pot pie what am i doing wrong please give me detailed answers. thanks
