Tyrone Williams, death or sympathy?

Tyrone Williams is the truck driver who was arrested for having lots of illegal aliens in the back of his truck of which 18 died due to heat. Is he just a victim of cirstances (poor needing money) or should he be set free. I am not playing the "race card" but should he be released because he just wanted to make an extra buck smuggling illegal aliens north?
