Did God know that things would get this phukked up when he planted the magic tree in the Garden of Eden ?

If so, why would he do something so colossally stupid ? I mean, would you leave a loaded gun in your baby's crib ? (I know 'colossally' looks wrong but I looked it up on webster-miriam)
