Is it possible to migrate Pokemon from a Emerald Rom to an Platinum Rom?

I'm afraid I don't believe that save files for ROMs are compatible across different games, apologies. I took a look into the M3i Zero (see link) but even on this card using save files wouldn't work on multiple games.
