Green Tripe??????????????

Does anyone feed their dogs green tripe. The dog breed I'm talking to says that she feed her dogs green tripe once a week. If you feed it to your dogs where do you buy it. She says that she gets it from a bulk supplier and just thaws some for them and feeds it raw. Has anyone seen it at grocery stores. I know they sell it canned, but I was hoping to get it fresh or frozen if at all possible.
